JUNE 2012 CONCERT

THE HORLEY SINGERS present a very special summer concert at Oakwood School, Balcombe Road, Horley on Saturday 30th June at 7.30 p.m.

The concert is in association with The Horley-Vimy Twinning Association and the choir’s special guests will be Harmonie de L’Union, an acclaimed French wind orchestra, from Vendin-Le-Vieil near Vimy . Harmonie de L’Union took part in last year’s Horley-Vimy Twinning Association’s celebrations of 20 years’ twinning and a group of The Horley Singers crossed the channel to join in the festivities. Harmonie de L’Union is making the return visit to Horley for what promises to be an exciting musical event.

The concert will feature a blend of jazz, spirituals, classic pop, light classics and easy-listening music. This year’s concert is in aid of The Orpheus Centre, Godstone. The Centre provides unique opportunities for disabled young adults (18-25) with a passion for the performing arts. Tickets are £8.00 (£5.00 concessions).
